Avenue Supermarts, the operator of the DMart retail chain, has posted a resilient performance for the June quarter. The company announced a consolidated net profit of Rs 860 crore, marking an 11.3% increase compared to the previous year.
The retailer’s top line also saw significant expansion, with revenue from operations climbing 14.9% to reach Rs 18,795 crore. This growth underscores sustained consumer demand across the chain’s store network.
Operational efficiency remained a key highlight for the quarter. The company reported a 15.4% rise in EBITDA, while EBITDA margins edged slightly higher to 8%.
These figures reflect DMart's ability to navigate competitive retail environments while maintaining profitability. Shareholders will be looking to see if this positive trend continues throughout the remainder of the fiscal year.
