Tech giant Infosys has unveiled its Q1 earnings, highlighting a notable improvement in employee retention. The company's voluntary attrition rate dropped to 13%, down from 14.4% in the same period last year, signaling a stabilization in its human capital strategy.
While retention numbers remain positive, the total headcount saw a minor contraction. The workforce decreased by 532 employees compared to the previous quarter, bringing the total number of staff to 328,062.
Despite this slight sequential dip, the broader picture remains one of growth. On a year-on-year basis, the IT leader has expanded its team by 4,274 employees since June 2024, maintaining its footprint in a competitive talent landscape.
