JSW Steel has delivered a robust financial performance for the first quarter of the fiscal year, with net profits jumping to Rs 4,696 crore—a twofold increase compared to the corresponding period last year.
The company’s top-line growth mirrored its bottom-line success, with total income reaching Rs 48,088 crore, up from Rs 43,497 crore reported in the previous year. This revenue boost highlights the firm's resilience in a fluctuating industrial landscape.
Operational efficiency remains a core driver for the steel giant, which saw a 3% uptick in crude steel production during the June quarter. Looking ahead, the company continues to focus on capacity expansion, notably with the kickoff of a major steel facility project in Andhra Pradesh.
