TVS Motor Company delivered an impressive performance in the first quarter, witnessing a 67% year-on-year jump in net profit to Rs 1,019 crore. Driven by robust demand, revenue from operations climbed 33.5% to reach Rs 16,295 crore.
Operational efficiency remained a key highlight for the quarter, as the company achieved its highest-ever EBITDA of Rs 1,779 crore. This growth was largely supported by a 28% increase in overall two-wheeler and three-wheeler sales volumes.
In addition to strong operational gains, the board has authorized plans to raise up to Rs 1,000 crore through the issuance of debt instruments to bolster future expansion. Investors reacted positively to the news, pushing shares up by 6% during intraday trading.
