Shares of Power Mech Projects climbed by 3% in today's trading session. This positive market momentum follows the company's successful bid for a massive operations and maintenance contract awarded by the Telangana Power Generation Corporation.
The agreement, valued at approximately Rs 279.20 crore, spans a three-year term. Under the scope of the project, Power Mech will oversee the critical ash and coal handling infrastructure for the Yadadri Thermal Power Station, specifically servicing five distinct 800 MW units.
This contract win strengthens the company's already robust fiscal outlook. With fresh inflows reaching Rs 3,113 crore for the year to date, the firm now boasts a substantial order book valued at Rs 17,317 crore.
Investors have responded favorably to the news, as the project enhances the company's long-term revenue visibility. The consistent order intake reflects Power Mech's strengthening position within the regional energy infrastructure sector.
